Jeff Burton is President of SAF-America and American Dream Development, a company he founded in 2005 on the principle that every hard-working family should be able to afford ownership of a home.

He is experienced in almost every aspect of real estate from land acquisition and development to the construction, sales and marketing of new homes.

Prior to starting his own homebuilding company, Burton was the Director of Construction and Development for Picerne Military Housing, a national real estate development, construction and property management company that partners with the U.S. military to providing affordable housing for military families.

He also served as Regional Manager for KB Home and Senior Superintendent for Richmond Homes in Denver, Colo. Burton also was the Director of Construction for C&D Management, a real estate development firm in Englewood, Colo.

He obtained a Masters in Business Administration degree (MBA) from the University of Phoenix and earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in marine micro-biology from the University of

Washington and is currently pursuing a Doctoral degree in Public Policy from the University of Colorado.

Burton is a U.S. Navy veteran and is active in several community organizations. He presently consults for American Communities and Skyscapes of Springfield.
